Activities at Queens Court Care Home
Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

We are delighted to introduce Emilia as our Activities Lead. Emilia has been part of Queens Court for some time and is excellent in ensuring our residents have a full and interesting life introducing many new hobbies, activities and experiences!

We have finished our collection!
We are happy to announce that we have collected 37 big beautiful mascots and 15 books, we are so proud!!
We delivered them to St. Georges Hospital Charity who will give them to children from the Oncology ward!
We are happy that each of the children will get a smile in a difficult time for them!

Chef Academy Achievement!

Christmas Lights Switch On
Recently our Christmas lights were switched on by The Deputy Mayor Councillor Brenda Fraser with whom the residents and staff spent a wonderful time!

Halloween Baby Story Telling
What a sweet time! A Halloween party at Queen Court with a lovely baby story time. All led by Natasha and Nicole from Glow inspire baby story time.
Not only did we all have a great time but also great snacks and drinks. For that one lucky mum Queen Court had offered a 125£ gift card, the lucky winner was chooses from a bowl by our lovely manager Sharon Caratella.
A great time for our residents who were delighted to meet those lovely babies Our library was turned into a lovely spa by Pippa from all about mums giving a great and relaxing face massage, and Emma from Holistic Therapy who did a massage of the head and hands.
Ela’s Musical Exercise Class
Well done to our residents who gave it their all today's music classes with Ela were 100% effective!
We love weekly classes full of music and all the extras to the exercises that make the time more enjoyable.
Of course we can't forget about our wonderful team who are always happy to join in all the activities!
Friendship Hours at Kings College School
Our friend Kings College School has organized Friendship Hours every Friday, our residents love to meet with friendly students and talk about all topics.
Delicious sandwiches and cakes prepared by students are amazing hospitality that we love. Every Friday you can meet residents of Queens Court at Kings College School.
