Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Intergenerational Fun
The wonderful Hopton Primary School visited us this week and provided us with a fantastic singing performance. We love having the children visit us and we ensure we support the school at every opportunity.
Taking part in intergenerational activities such as social engagements and interactions, bring together younger and older generations for a common purpose. These activities build on the strengths that different generations have to offer, as well as nurture understanding, respect, and challenge ageism.
Birthday Celebrations
Happy Birthday Sylvia!
Birthday celebrations are important. It's an opportunity to gather with loved ones, share stories, and make memories. Your birthday is a chance for your friends and family to show their appreciation for you, and to celebrate the unique qualities that make you who you are.
At Ritson Lodge we ensure every resident is able to feel extra special on their birthday.
Live Concert At Ritson Lodge
One of the cornerstones of our life enrichment program is live musical entertainment. Resident involvement in choosing genres along with feedback after each performance means that we are able to constantly improve our activities calendar.
The methods and mediums may change but the heart of live music - the communal joy, the shared emotions, the collective energy - remains untouched. As we look to the future, one thing is clear: live music will continue to be a cherished experience at Ritson Lodge, even as its form and format evolve.
VE Day
We celebrated VE Day at Ritson Lodge with lots of dancing and fun all round.
