Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
Cupcake Extravaganza
On the 2nd of October we held a very successful Cupcake Extravaganza, with residents and families enjoying the sweet treats whilst being entertained by ‘Elvis’. Everyone who attended had a fabulous afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The King Comes to Shelburne
Residents were recently entertained by Elvis. They really enjoy his shows and are always pleased to see him – especially the ladies! They all sing along with him and shout out requests; there’s always lots of laughter when he’s around.
World Chocolate Day
Residents and staff at Shelburne Lodge recently celebrated World Chocolate Day. We had a delicious chocolate raffle, a yummy chocolate fountain and a fun karaoke afternoon that everyone joined in with.
A Week at Shelburne Lodge
We have had a fun-packed few weeks. Residents have enjoyed the wonderful weather and have taken full advantage of the lovely garden, participating in activities outside in the sunshine, whilst being entertained by Nick the musician.
Gary 'Elvis' Roman has also been entertaining residents, who thoroughly enjoyed singing along to his songs and being serenaded.
Recently, Michael & Kirsty came along to the home to give a ballroom and Latin dance demonstration, which residents thought was great, and really enjoyed Kirsty's costume changes.
The Spirit of Easter
Residents & staff at Shelburne Lodge got into the spirit of Easter by holding an Easter bonnet competition. Even Gizmo, the General Manager’s dog, joined in! Residents also enjoyed being entertained by Val from Champagne Enterprise, who passed the microphone around and got everybody singing along.
Marlow Ukulele Group
Residents recently enjoyed the Marlow Ukulele Group visiting the home. They all participated in a good old singalong and had a thoroughly fun time.
