Activities at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
Christmas Party
We had a wonderful Christmas at Southgate Beaumont, with a lot of traditional food freshly prepared by our chef, Brian, and his staff in the kitchen.
Iva organized the entertainment and had help from Laura and Mark for the refreshments. We had a lot of families and friends, volunteers from the local schools and people from the local community join us for the party.
We would like to say thank you all for coming and enjoying the day with us in our beautiful home.
Walkers Primary School
Residents and staff attended Walkers Primary School for their Christmas play rehearsal. It was a fabulous afternoon and we hope we are invited back next year!
A Trip to Brookfield Park Centre
Residents and staff went out in our minibus recently to visit Brookfield Park Centre. Residents bought presents for family members and themselves. Everyone had a great time!
Grandparents Day
We celebrated the young and old at Southgate Beaumont during our Grandparents Day celebrations. Residents brought in their lovely family photos on the day, and Dr Turk wont the prize for best intergenerational pictures and memories. The residents and their children and grandchildren were happy to spent time together and share memories over a glass of wine and the cheese platters put together by our hospitality team.
Friendship Day Party
Here at Southgate Beaumont, Iva our Activities Coordinator, arranged a big party to celebrate Friendship Day, and residents enjoyed strawberry & cream, Buck's Fizz and good music.
Enfield Over 50's Forum
Southgate Beaumont hosted an Enfield Over 50's Forum and Loraine Dixon from the University of Gloucestershire discussed the issues facing the nursing profession and the training of nurses. It was well-attended; many people from the community joined Beaumont us for the lecture.
