Activities at Threshfield Court Care Home
Here at Threshfield Court, we aim to tailor the activities to meet the needs of individual residents, the communities within the home and the home as a whole. We have regular, structured activities such as visits from Music for Health, specialist armchair exercise facilitators, local musicians and a growing team of volunteers, including our local clergy. We also have time for arts and crafts, all sorts of games, music, poetry and lots more. We are pretty good at being spontaneous too!

Exploring beautiful local villages
Close to our home here at Threshfield is a small picturesque village called Linton.
Hidden is the most breath-taking collecting of small falls, named – Linton Falls. During our minibus outing last Thursday we visited these falls. The path down to the falls was very accessible and wheelchair friendly too.
The weather was a big bonus. Sunshine all round!
The history of Dogs Trust
Residents across our homes had a fantastic time during a special live virtual event, led by Jennifer and Emily from Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity. Jennifer and Emily took us on a journey to discover the rich history of Dogs Trust and their facilities.
Using captivating video and photo footage, our residents were able to explore rehoming centres and learn more about the highest level of welfare offered there. It was a delightful experience for everyone, especially our dog lovers.
Monthly Church Service
Rev Tom Lusty kindly came to see the residents on Wednesday morning and held a small church service here in the lounge.
Rev Lusty brought ran order of service which had hymns, prayers and bible readings.
It was lovely to see the residents reminiscing when the music stared and singing along with the hymns.
Afterwards we had tea and cakes and rev Lusty had a lovely chat which each resident individually.
We are very lucky to have the privilege to have the church service on a monthly basis.
