Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Bibesh Shrestha
Hi, My name is Bibesh Shrestha, Activity Coordinator
Having more than 10 years of professional experience in multiple sectors at different places have given me the confidence to get involved in any challenging environment where my skills and experience will be instrumental in achieving personal and social goals.
Being a motivator and influencer to the people around me has always been my passion, and also part of my profession. As an Activity Coordinator, my ultimate goal is to transfer my energy and spread my happiness.
Being active and full of energy with humbleness is what defines me and transferring that energy to the people around me has been my prime interest.

Life at Trinity Manor Care Home
A Perfect Sunday
Residents and the General Manager at Trinity Manor are absolutely delighted of being able to spend every Sunday afternoon together playing games, chatting and reminiscing.
VJ Day
Residents at Trinity Manor celebrated the 75th anniversary of Victory Over Japan Day.
Whilst VE Day (Victory in Europe) marked the end of the war in Europe in May 1945, many thousands of Armed Forces personnel were still engaged in bitter fighting in the Far East.
Victory over Japan would come at a heavy price, and Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day) marks the day Japan surrendered on the 15th August 1945, which in effect ended the Second World War.
Dance Classes
Our Activities Coordinator is a trained dancer and singer so our residents are benefiting from their own weekly dance lessons of their choice.
Dancing is great for elderly people, as it will helps to keep fit and healthy. Dancing regularly will help maintain people’s strength and strong bones, improve their posture and muscle strength, increase their balance and coordination and will help relieve any stresses they may have.
Exercise Fun
At Trinity Manor, we take all aspects of our residents' health very seriously. Three times a week we have exercising classes, including light weights and elastic bands.
There are lots of benefits of seniors exercising: a lower risk of certain health conditions, such as heart disease, stroke, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes; improved bone health, a lower risk of dementia, improved quality of life and a lower risk of depression.
Grand Opening
Residents mentioned that they would love a bar at Trinity Manor, so our Deputy Manager rose to the challenge and was able to provide everyone with a portable bar to use inside and out that is readily available to move between rooms for those who are unable to get out into communal areas.
Resident Ambassador, Dr Valerie, opened the bar with a ribbon cutting ceremony on 21st July 2020, and residents were able to enjoy a selection of ales, beers and some pork scratchings.
A Gift From Maine
Our staff received this lovely gift from one of our resident's loved ones in Maine. It's great to be appreciated!
