Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Tai Chi
Our residents were treated to their weekly Tai Chi class. Everyone took part to make it an enjoyable and worthwhile exercise morning.
Employee Of The Month
Amanda has been nominated by her peers to be employee of the month for December. Amanda's nomination came from her kind and caring personality, her unquestionable professionalism, and the way in which she takes the time to help develop the staff around her. Amanda's presence on the unit, is one which we are very lucky to have, and one which the residents are so very fond. Congratulations Amanda, on a much deserved award.
Christmas Party
John our 'Residents Ambassador' is enjoying Werrington's annual Christmas party with one of our residents. A fun day all round for everyone.
Gunthorpe Methodist Choir
Gunthorpe Methodist Choir visited Werrington Lodge during Christmas and performed a carol concert for the residents and their family and friends. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
RAF Wittering
RAF Wittering came into the home to meet some of our residents who served in the Forces, they then joined us for lunch. A good time was had by all.
Remembrance Day
Staff members and residents at Werrington Lodge created a beautiful poppy display at the home to show their appreciation for the members of the armed forces, who have died in their line of duty.
