Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Life at Werrington Lodge Care Home

Remembrance Day

Staff members and residents at Werrington Lodge created a beautiful poppy display at the home to show their appreciation for the members of the armed forces, who have died in their line of duty.

Halloween Party

Staff members and residents had a great Halloween celebration at the home. These delightful witches are June Jessop and Una Lawrence who are very proud of their cobweb, and spider. Residents ambassador John Andrews had fun carving a pumpkin.

Everyone enjoyed the Halloween party and had fun!

Nice & Easy in the Wild West

Entertainment duo, 'Nice & Easy', put on a wild west-themed showed for residents. Everyone really enjoyed their performance.

Werrington Turns 30

We celebrated 30 years here at Werrington Lodge. The kitchen team baked a delicious cake, and we were joined by friends, family members and the local community, who all enjoyed a buffet, live entertainment and plenty of refreshments, which were served throughout the afternoon.
