Activities at Wilsmere House Care Home
Most days, you will find our Activities Coordinators doing a range of different activities with residents, whether that be in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis. It is important that our activities team are passionate about the social events that we provide, and are dedicated to delivering an activities programme that reflect the interests and capabilities of those we support, so that life at Wilsmere House is full of fun.

Life at Wilsmere House Care Home
Pancake Day
Pancake Day is a day of feast before Lent begins. It was the last opportunity for Christians to use up their leftovers before embarking on a fasting period. At Wilsmere House, residents took the opportunity to flip a few pancakes.
Out & About
Residents at Wilsmere always seem in their element when going on trips outside the home.
Verulamium Museum
We always have a queue of residents ready to go out on our outings. Most recently, they jumped at the opportunity to dress up a Roman soldiers.
Burns Social
Every January, residents look forward to having some haggis and a wee bit of whiskey on Burns Night. They sing the old Scottish songs and poetry is recited for everyone to enjoy.
Valentine's Day
Residents enjoyed some fantastic music, had a glass of bubbly and indulged in a chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows.
Employee of the Month - November
Congratulations to Lee, who was named as Employee of the Month for November here at Wilsmere House. He was nominated because he is hard working and is always willing to assist people.
