Activities at Braeburn Lodge Care Home
Our dedicated activities team are constantly dreaming up new and wonderful ways to support and stimulate the residents we look after. From trips to crafts, parties to skittles, musical performances and quizzes, we include something for everyone and pride ourselves on including everyone into the fun. We have a brilliant team of volunteers who help us to deliver more trips, support us at events and pop in for a cup of tea and chat. We have pet therapy at least once per week (sometimes twice!) and we take advantage of every school break by holding large scale events that we can invite families with children to. We have been developing ties with our neighbours since we first opened and thanks to this, we have successfully brought together our residents with local churches, choirs, Brownies groups, and schools. Whatever your interests are, here at Braeburn, there's something for everyone.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Braeburn Lodge Care Home
Little Explorers
At Braeburn Lodge, our local Explorer Scouts visited us and spent some time with residents, who shared some gardening tips with the youngsters, after which we had a nice display of hanging baskets and pots for all to appreciate.
Foxdale Equine Centre
We at Braeburn Lodge had a lovely afternoon visiting Foxdale Equine Centre and met with some beautiful horses that have retired from their working life. The staff were able to show us around and enlighten us with their stories behind each four-legged friend. It was a truly amazing day for residents to enjoy.
Christmas Party
We had a lovely afternoon at the hands of Trudi Mason, our fabulous keyboardist and vocalist, as we danced the afternoon away to our favourite songs and enjoyed fresh mulled wine and mince pies, ending the afternoon on our raffle draw.
A Chilly Day Out
We braved the icy weather to do a spot of Christmas shopping and were rewarded with fantastic, hot cappuccinos.
Tai Chi Sessions
With Christmas soon approaching, we had a lovely decorated room in which to do our monthly Tai Chi exercise with Ray Pawlett. We look forward to seeing Ray again in the new year for twice monthly sessions.
Deeping Baptist Church
We were graced with the presence of members of the Deeping Baptist Church over the Christmas period who joined in with a lovely carol service.

Coffee Morning
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us at our monthly coffee morning, come along and make new friends - all welcome from 10.00 am on the first Tuesday of the month.
