Activities at Burwood Grange Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Dementia Forum and Cheese and Wine Evening

We were delighted to welcome Donna and Dee a Dementia Ambassador from Acacia Domiciliary Care to our Dementia Forum. A big thank you to them both.

Families were able to ask questions around the subject of Dementia and to talk to one another about their loved ones.

It was a lovely evening with a delicious cheeseboard with biscuits and wine to enjoy.

Burwood Grange Hosts star-studded charity event

Excitement was through the roof at Burwood Grange as we welcomed the very talented Sian Reeves an actress and singer.

Sian visited the home to help launch her charity album 'Remember This' for Alzheimers Society.

After a few songs everyone had tea and a cake from the wide selection of sumptious cakes made by our Head Chef Ajaib.

Then it was time for more songs and dancing. Thank you Sian you really made our Friday 13th a very happy one.
