Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Brooklands Radio welcome Burwood Grange
Our Home Service Advisor Heather was welcomed yesterday by the lovely Alan from Brooklands Radio to talk about our home and also all the lovely community events we would be holding and activities that happen for our residents during the week
Valentines Evening with Fizz and Chocs
Some of our ladies wanted a girls night in and as we still had our lovely Balloons from Valentines Day we said Cin Cin with some glasses of Fizz and indulged with a box of decadent chocolates.

Exercises with Amanda
Exercising and stretching is such an important part of wellbeing and is a regular event in our Activity Planner. Amanda comes to put us through our paces and the residents and staff certainly benefit
Sea Shanty singing at Burwood Grange
We had a lovely treat yesterday at Burwood Grange when we welcomed the Sea Shanty group to come and sing a wide variety of sea shanty songs for us all.
Big Quiz Live Virtual Event
We often have Barchester Virtual Live events at Burwood Grange and this afternoon it was the Big quiz. We link up with different Barchester homes and have good fun trying to win the contest. Its also a favourite with the staff
