Activities at Burwood Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Burwood Grange Care Home
Gardening Club
This week at the Burwood Grange Gardening club, we re-potted the plants that we started to grow a few weeks ago.
Sitting out in the sun, keeping our fingers green and chatting away is a form of therapy to us and is something we all enjoy a great deal.
Pamper Time
Avis was delighted with her nails after her pamper afternoon in the Salon at Burwood Grange.
She has been showered with compliments and we are not surprised, the Beautiful Red nail varnish she chose looks absolutely gorgeous!
The Grand National
This weekend at Burwood Grange we were excited to watch The Grand National. We gathered in our Bar for some pre-race drinks and discussed which horses we thought would be in the top 5.
We then took our seats in the cinema for the big race and after lots of excitement and cheering it was all over for another year.
What a great afternoon!
Weybridge Men's Shed
We would like to say a BIG thank you to The Weybridge Men's Shed for having us at the shed yesterday.
We were invited to give a small talk over tea and cake about Burwood Grange and we discussed all the ways in which the home and the shed can work together.
Everyone was so welcoming and the shed is truly a fantastic place, we can't wait to bring some residents along!
Burwood Bunny Hunt
Here at Burwood Grange we hosted a Bunny Hunt in the garden this Easter weekend. We opened our doors to the local community and didn't let the rain stop us.
Our residents took part in many other Easter activities including taking some time to reflect on why we celebrate Easter and the meaning behind it.
The Minibus has arrived
We are absolutely delighted by the delivery of our minibus this week. We feel very privileged to be able to offer this to our residents and it supports us to bring more variety and freedom to their lives.
We are very much looking forward to getting out and about locally and venturing further afield. Our residents have lots of places they wish to visit, so the fun starts now!
