Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Blackberry picking in our beautiful garden.
A beautiful day in the gardens !
Today our Head Chet Avni and Margot went blackberry picking in our beautiful gardens. The sun was shinning and the fruit were perfectly ripe.
We picked 2 basket full of delicious berries and later in the week we are going use them in our baking master class.
Trip out to Chipperfield
Trip to Chipperfield Garden Centre.
What a wonderful afternoon we had visiting our local garden centre. We laughed until our cheeks hurt. Enjoyed delicious refreshments & bumped into some old friends for a natter.
Time for Tea
Residents enjoy nothing more than getting together over a cup of tea and homemade cake for a good old natter and debate about current affairs.
Gardening Club
We understand the importance of maintaining independence here at Bushey House and our Gardening club does just that. With our stunning grounds there is always something to keep us pottering around and busy making them look well groomed and beautiful.
Lunch at Bella Rosa
What a treat. It was lovely for Ranjit and some of the residents of Bushey to be able to have lunch out in the village this week. The residents enjoyed a nice chilled glass of wine and picking some good old favourite Italian classics to enjoy from the menu. We cant wait to go back.
Games afternoon
Ruby really enjoys her visits to Bushey House. She always takes time to talk to the residents and ask them what they enjoy. This time on her visit she bought her favourite game with her. She talked Joan into a game and what fun they had. Joan said the laughter took her back to times with her own children.

We have teamed up with Saltus and Teaco Associates to provide information and advice about financial planning for later life. Advance booking required.
