Activities at Chacombe Park Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Chacombe Park Care Home
Christmas Fun
We went for a spot of Christmas shopping at the local garden centre and, most importantly, stopped off for a nice cup of tea.
Supporting the Local Church
We visited our local church to support their wreath festival. The residents made several wreaths to take along to the festival. It was a lovely morning indeed.
Handbell Ringers Return
We had a wonderful afternoon with the Chacombe Handbell Ringers, who played many of our favourite festive carols, and finished off with mulled wine and mince pies. Many of the residents also had a go at playing the bells themselves.
Chacombe in the Snow
We had lots of snow fall and the grounds looked wonderful. We enjoyed hot drinks and mince pies in the warm whilst watching the horizon turn white.
Straight to Stratford
We had a wonderful day out at Stratford-upon-Avon; we enjoyed a lovely cruise down the river, seeing all the sights along the way and were blessed with glorious sunshine. We finished off the day by eating fish and chips along the riverside.
Daventry Country Park
We recently visited Daventry Country Park for a lovely walk on a sunny afternoon, topped off with a delicious ice cream!
