Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.
It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

Chorleywood Beaumont Songsters!
The Chorleywood Beaumont songsters come together every Wednesday afternoon to sing along to their favorite song's. Lead by Merri and joined by their loved ones residents are always in full voice.
Why not come and join us on Wednesday's at 230pm for an afternoon of singing, good company and delious cake prepared by head chef Annette and her team.

Oh what fun we had at Chorleywood Beaumont when David Brierly came to perform for us. Residents were joined by their loved ones and team members and we danced and sang along to our favorite songs.

Remembrance at Christ Church.
On Saturday residents and team members from Chorleywood Beaumont took a trip to Christ Church to visit the pop up cafe raising money for Playskills, who are a local charity that provides expert support, training and respite for pre school children who have physical delays or disabilities and to see the Remembrance display created by Knit & Natter, The flower team, Christ Church Chorleywood C of E School and the scouts.
It was a beautiful day, we really enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back soon.

Come dine with us at The Chorleywood Beaumont Lunch Club.
Chorleywood Beaumont hosted our first lunch club where members of the community and residents loved one's can joined us for a delicious lunch.. It was a great success and everyone enjoyed a pre lunch sherry or juice and Head Chef Annette and her team cooked up a delicious 3 course meal.

Shopping Trip.
Residents at Chorleywood Beaumont had a lovely trip out on our mini bus to Van Hage Garden Centre near Chorleywood.
We shopped for Christmas decorations and gifts and looked for some new plants for our raised beds. We enjoyed a hot drink and cake after we were all shopped out.
It was cappuccino and hot chocolates all round!

Autumnal Flower arranging.
Today to get into the autumnal spirit and celebrate Halloween, residents at Chorleywood Beaumont decorated the home with beautiful flower arrangements.
We enjoyed using a selection of our favorite flowers and combined them with pumpkins to make these beautiful arrangements. We have displayed them around the home in preparation for our afternoon tea this afternoon.
