Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.
It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

Its Barchester Easter Bake off!
Its Barchester Easter Bake off!
Barchester homes from all over the UK are invited to take part in the annual Barchester Easter Bake off. There are 2 categories "Chefs cake" and "Residents cake"
This year Chorleywood's Chef, Cristopher Pigera, made this beautiful Easter cake as the Chorleywood Chefs entry. A light vanilla sponge, decorated with hand modeled milk and white chocolate hen and eggs. Easter bunnies and delicately glittered flowers sculpted from royal icing.
Every part of this cake and decoration is edible and we cant wait to taste it.
Well done Cristopher, we think its a winner!
