Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

Loredana David

Activity Coordinator Lead

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.

It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

Life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Chorleywood Royalty

The management and admin team teamed up by going around the home with their crowns to put a smile on our residents faces.

Kazamania Singalong

Kaz, our new Head host, has started a new band with the residents and staff. This has encouraged residents to join in activities to interact and reminisce with each other to try and reduce the residents missing loved ones and family members.

Indoor Gardening

Despite the recent weather, our lovely residents at Chorleywood Beaumont enjoyed some indoor gardening. One thing remains true: whether the gardening is inside the home our outside, those who love growing things are proud to call themselves gardeners.

Divisional Maintenance Manager

Congratulations to Adrian Stoica, who has been named as a Divisional Winner in the 2020 Barchester Care Awards. Adrian is a finalist in the Maintenance Champion category and has been invited to attend an awards ceremony on 8th October, where he will find out if he has won overall.

Garden Club

Residents and staff are teaming up for our new Garden Club which is held every Tuesday. There is always something to do in our lovely big garden!

Costa Donation

Staff and residents were very grateful to receive Costa coffee from our local Costa shop. Costa delivered the cans of coffee in a way to show their appreciation for the hard work of our key workers.
