Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

Loredana David

Activity Coordinator Lead

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.

It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

Life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Family Reunion

It was a family reunion for some residents at Chorleywood Beaumont: the long-awaited reunion with family and friends became a reality recently, as limited garden visits have now been allowed to commence at the home.

A Royal Celebration

Residents and staff celebrated the Queen’s birthday with a high tea on the band stand. We also had residents judging the best cake!

Carers Week Celebration

It was a great week of celebration at Chorleywood Beaumont as we celebrated Carers Week. Residents at the home gifted our lovely carers with thank you cards and a beautiful handmade hamper. From all of us at Chorleywood Beaumont, thank you to all carers.

Back in Time

Residents enjoyed going back in time with a fun-filled '60s-themed afternoon. There was plenty of music, accompanied with a glass of Pimm's.
