Activities at Corrina Lodge Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.
Sharon Rickman
Hi, my name is Sharon, and I'm part of the activities team here at Corrina Lodge and have worked here for over 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy my job and have achieved an NVQ Level 3 in Activities whilst working here. During my time here, I have met some truly amazing people and I feel privileged to work in a home with such a sense of community.

Life at Corrina Lodge Care Home
The Good Life
Residents at Corrina Lodge have been very busy, especially Mark our resident chairman, creating our very own kitchen herb garden. Coffee tins were saved and beautifully decorated, then varnished and planted up with a selection of lovely herbs.
Fun to Fundraise
Residents and staff at Corrina Lodge in Camberley put the ‘fun’ into ‘fundraising’ by pledging to cycle 120miles to raise funds for The Hope Hub a charity based in Camberley which is working to prevent and end homelessness in Surrey Heath Borough and surrounding areas.
Dumitru Varzaru General Manager at Corrina Lodge said: “We love to fundraise for charities throughout the year, we pick different causes to support that have been selected by staff, residents and friends of the home. The Hope Hub is a great cause that helps many people in need. We feel really proud to have been able to a brilliant £422.00 for this fantastic charity. A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated!
The Hope Hub supports people who are 18+ providing 1:1 support for homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, are unemployed, in debt and/or struggling with mental health and/or addition(s).www.thehopehub.org.uk
