Activities at Falmouth Court Care Home

We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Falmouth Court Knitting Club

So our wonderful ladies in out knitting club have been working on a very important project. They have been knitting away making hats for premature babies at Treliske hospital. Even our care team have been making them in their own time. We hope to take all the finished hats across the the hospital soon.

National Housekeepers Week

To celebrate International Housekeeping week our residents made some lovely hand made cards for our housekeeping team. We treated them to a box of chocolates too to show our appreciation for all the very hard work they do.

Falmouth Court is kept immaculate and gleaming by our wonderful hard working team and our residents and staff are all so thankful for all they do.

National Dog Day 2023

What a wonderful day we had for National Dog Day at Falmouth Court!

We had many furry friends come to visit and spend time with our residents.

Everyone enjoyed some cakes and strawberries and cream and the doggies enjoyed some treats and toys too.

Musical Trip to Truro Cathedral

Our residents had a lovely trip to Truro Cathedral to see the Truro, Newquay & Falmouth "Good Afternoon Choirs" perform.

The Good afternoon Choirs are a social group that have their afternoons free to sing and have fun and even raise money for local charities.

What a wonderful treat for everyone in the most stunning location.
