Activities at Falmouth Court Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.
Chloe Collins
I have moved to Falmouth from Kent where I was already in place at another Barchester home as the Activities Coordinator. I love providing our residents with fulfilling activities and my specialty is arts and crafts. I have a degree in Fine Arts and achieved a first in the subject. I strive to provide our residents with a varied range of life enriching activities. I like to get to know each residents and their interests to I can tailor activities to individuals interests and hobbies.

St.Pirans Day Celebrations
A wonderful St.Pirans day celebration over the weekend for the residents of Falmouth Court.
Everyone enjoyed lovely home baked saffron cake made by Amber one of our care team.
Along with a Cornish cream tea the right way, Jam first! Thank you to Morrisons for their kind donation of scones for the occasion.
Then Cornish pasties we’re served In the evening.
Chair Yoga and Meditation
So today at Falmouth Court our residents enjoyed some chair yoga and meditation in our beautiful Garden Lounge. Haley from our activities team is really keen to keep all our residents moving with regular gentle exercise classes.
Pancake Day Celebrations
A fun afternoon had by all at Falmouth Court yesterday. Our residents and staff enjoyed pancakes topped with an array of delicious toppings to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.
David from our activities team then held a fun quiz for all to enjoy.
Happy Birthday Andrea!
Birthday celebrations today at Falmouth Court. Wishing our wonderful and glamorous Administration Manager Andrea a very happy birthday. Our talented chef baked this wonderful cake for residents and staff to enjoy.
Valentines Delivery
A huge thank you to the Kevin the manager at Tesco Express Falmouth and Falmouth Nurseries for their kind donations of flowers and plants for our residents on Valentine’s Day.
Haley from our activities team delivered these bright delights to all our residents yesterday among all the valentines fun!
Valentine’s Day at Falmouth Court!
So our night team created this wonderfully decorated room for our residents to wake up to this morning.
With hearts everywhere and two freshly baked cakes. It really is the start of a fun day. Our activities team have a valentines dance planned for this afternoon with flowers and plants donated by Tesco Express and Falmouth Nurseries to brighten our residents day.
