Activities at Falmouth Court Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Trip to Flicka Foundation - Donkey Sanctuary
Well, todays trip out was absolutely wonderful! We took a full minibus of our residents to visit The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary. What better way to spend a glorious sunny afternoon than with some beautiful furry friends?
Everyone enjoyed a good tour around seeing all the donkey’s, followed by tea, coffee and delicious cakes in the cafe.
An amazing time was had by all. It just confirms how important regular life enriching trips out and about into the community really are.

St.Patricks Day Celebrations
Residents and staff at Falmouth Court in Falmouth celebrated all things Irish for St Patrick’s Day this week.
Held on March 17th, Saint Patrick's Day actually observes the death of St Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, but the day has come to be a huge celebration of Irish heritage and culture.
Staff and residents at the home marked the day by decorating the home with green garlands and four leaf clovers and listening to Irish music. Guinness and Irish coffees were on offer throughout the day.
