Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Winchester Community Choir Visit
Yesterday the Flowerdown family and residents had the pleasure of welcoming the Winchester Community Choir.
They filled our home with Christmas spirit, singing a selection of classic Christmas carols. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed joining in, evoking feelings of nostalgia and tradition.
What a wonderful and uplifting way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Christmas Wreath Making
We all came together today for a festive Christmas countdown activity, and created a Christmas wreath!
Everybody loved getting creative and embracing the tradition which carries sentiments of hope, warmth and celebration! We used evergreens like pine, holly and ivy, to reflect the resilience of life and nature, even in the depths of Winter.
It was such a fun and festive day, full of laughter and chatter and the residents really enjoyed themselves and were all proud of their creations!
World Pasta Day

We celebrated World Pasta Day in style by learning fun facts and looking at some common types of pasta, did you know there are over 600 pasta shapes?
Our talented Chefs and kitchen team, prepared some delicious Pasta recipes which we all enjoyed.
The joy of trying new dishes and sharing stories about their origins made the day even more special.
We all had a fantastic day!
Elvis Story
We had an exciting morning with Jelvis, our incredibly talented activities assistant, who is also an Elvis impersonator and singer.
He took our Flowerdown residents on a musical journey down memory lane.
He sang many favourites and special requests.
Our residents were singing along, tapping their feet and clapping their hands.
The whole performance was very uplifting, we all loved it and enjoyed ourselves.
Halloween Fun
Our Flowerdown residents are getting into the Halloween spirit with some pumpkin carving fun!
We enjoyed a nostalgic activity that brought back fond memories of our residents childhood.
