Activities at Four Hills Care Home
Our activity and lifestyle programme is arranged for all our residents to participate in and is updated regularly based on ideas from our residents group during our resident forum. Our Resident of the Day strategy ensures each person receives at least one day each month where the focus is all about them.
We have a monthly concert and to date this is appreciated and enjoyed by most residents. The Four Hills Taverns is open for business every Friday afternoon and is an area where residents and staff socialise, hold pub quizzes and partake in a little refreshment.
The team at Four Hills try hard to meet everyone's needs and encourage all residents and their families to join in the fun.

Life at Four Hills Care Home
Cycling without Age
As part of the World Cycling Championships being held in Glasgow this month, thanks to Cycling Without Age residents of Four Hills were able to take part in the experience by being given Rickshaws rides around the Clydeside of Glasgow.
Jenny said it was a great day, feeling the wind in her face, seeing the sights of Glasgow and another great experience she never thought she would take part in at her age.
Fun at the Science Centre
What a fantastic day we all had at the Science Centre actually don’t know who had more fun the residents or the staff.
There was so much to see and do. We had a go with all the gadgets. Everyone had a good laugh. It was also very interesting learning about new technology, biology, physics and your carbon foot print.
Community Friends
Another great day at the ladies lunch group in Springburn, this week as well as having a right good laugh we painted some stones for our garden, after a lovely lunch together.
Riding for Disabled trip
Another great afternoon at the Riding for Disabled stables, meeting all the lovely horses, some of the residents were a little apprehensive at first but as soon as they met the horses the nerves disappeared and they were soon brushing and grooming them.
Another great day out, thanks to all the volunteers for their help.
Mayfair of Nightingales
Residents across our services had a fantastic time joining Mandy Morrow for a virtual walking tour to learn about the ‘Herstory’ of Mayfair. The Mayfair of Nightingales may be long gone but it still holds a 20th century charm. Birthplace to the late Queen Elizabeth II, home to one of WWII's most decorated female war heroes and a tale of a wealthy Aristocrat and one of France's favourite designers.
We were delighted to take a walk down memory lane and discover stories from one of London's most iconic areas. The experience was truly enjoyed by all.
Silent Disco
We decided to try something a bit new this month and brought in a silent disco to Four Hills, residents had a wonderful time being in their own wee musical bubble, we had the disco lights on and the cocktails were flowing. Residents, staff and visitors all got their groove on, we all loved it and its definitely something we will do again.
