Activities at Hagley Place Care Home

Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Mandy Hayward

Activities Coordinator

I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

Staff Receive Vaccination

We are extremely thankful to be working in conjunction with Station Drive Surgery, who are involved with the first vaccinations given in South Shropshire.

All residents, and 75% of staff ,have received the COVID-19 vaccinations on the 02/01/21. We are very happy that residents feel safer and are hoping for better days ahead!

Christmas Card Competition

We had some fantastic entries for our Christmas card competition. Our lovely residents picked the winners and really enjoyed looking through the cards. Winners were picked and are being printed to send to residents' families.

Christmas Decorations

We really have had fun making Christmas centre pieces for our Christmas day tables! Holly from the garden was used and we did enjoy it, although it was a bit prickly.
