Activities at Hagley Place Care Home
Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.
Mandy Hayward
I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

Residents in Wonderland
Staff and residents enjoyed the most amazing themed Alice in Wonderland party. All residents enjoyed a picnic style buffet and live music and, of course, plenty of jam tarts!
Our staff loved dressing up; it brought plenty of smiles to our fabulous residents' faces, as you can see by the pictures.
Veteran turns 100!
Our long term resident, Bill, celebrated his 100th birthday in style. He enjoyed visits throughout the day from members of his family. Our Head Chef made him the most glorious cake and a wonderful card from the Queen was received.
Holy Communion is Back!
We welcomed back Ruth Downes to Hagley Place to provide holy communion, prayers and beautiful readings. Our residents really have missed seeing Ruth. We all look forward to the next time we see her! Ruth will be with us once a month. It was a very thoughtful service.
Celebrating Talent
Resident, Di, is an accomplished artist, so we held an exhibition of her own personal art collection, and it was amazing! Di loves our weekly art class, and said it feels fantastic to be able to retain her life skills here at Hagley Place.
