Activities at Hagley Place Care Home
Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.
Mandy Hayward
I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

We have now introduced a brightly coloured aquarium in the entrance of our home for all to enjoy.
Annual BBQ

Congratulations to Alison Stokes and Nicki Bolver, who have been named as Divisional Winners in the Memory Lane Champion and Volunteer of the Year categories at this year's Barchester Care Awards.
Bottle Top Art Project
Residents at Hagley Place have put their artistic hats on to create pictures out of bottle tops. It was a very fun and creative afternoon!
Garden Bowls
Residents had a lot of fun playing bowls in Hagley Place's garden once the sun decided to make a surprising appearance.
Blame it on Sunshine!
Our Local Radio Station, Sunshine Radio, came to Hagley Place recently to collect money for local charities. We made sure that we gave them a very warm welcome.
