Activities at Hagley Place Care Home
Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Christmas Fayre
The Ludlow Town Band came to play at our Christmas Fayre.
Getting Festive
It's Christmas time, so Hagley Place has started getting festive.
Elf Bowling & Hot Chocolate
We had a laugh bowling over elves and keeping ourselves warm with hot chocolate and cream.
Christmas Wreaths
Our craft group have been busy creating some Christmas wreaths that we will be decorating the home with.
Christmas Armchair Zumba
Our regular armchair Zumba session have taken a seasonal turn this week, as folks at the home a preparing for Christmas.
Craft Christmas Cards
Our craft group got to work making some personalised Christmas cards to get into the spirit of the season.
