Activities at Hagley Place Care Home

Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Mandy Hayward

Activities Coordinator

I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

Employee of the Month - April

Employee of the Month - April

Congratulations to Alena Mandzil, who was named Hagley Place's Employee of the Month for April.

Congratulations to Stephanie!

Congratulations to Stephanie!

We are very proud to congratulate our Head Housekeeper, Stephanie Evans, on the completion of her NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality. It has taken a year for her to finish up the work due to unforeseen circumstances with the redundancies at the college, which makes the triumph all the more impressive!

Well done Steph - we are all full of pride for your accomplishments!

Our 'Garden on Wheels' project was started as a way for residents who enjoy gardening, but can no longer manage to go outside, to be able to continue their hobby.
