Activities at Hagley Place Care Home
Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.
Mandy Hayward
I have a long background in the care industry and love to incorporate the outdoors in my activities. This role is very special as it allows me the time to get to know our residents and their families in a deeply personal way.

Garden on Wheels
The garden on wheels project is looking good for those who are unable to get out to the garden as often as they would in the past. On rainy days, we will be bringing the garden into the home.
In the summer, we shall be using it as a mobile strawberry picking unit, taking the mini fields to the residents for them to pick.
D.I.Y. at Hagley Place
The Gardening Club at Hagley Place did it themselves by creating some home hanging baskets for the garden; they look wonderful!
