Activities at Hall Park Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Natasha Lindo
Natasha is the Activities Coordinator here at Hall Park. Natasha really enjoys her job as no two days are ever the same. The life enrichment and daily activities program aims to provide stimulation for the mind, body and soul by engaging with residents daily. We all love to use our imagination and here we encourage creative activities. We also have a minibus which is used weekly to take residents out to cafes, local beauty spots and day trips.

Life at Hall Park Care Home
Italian National Day
We had a fun-filled day celebrating Italy’s National Day. The Festival of the Republic, also known as Italian National Day, marks the official formation of the country after World War II.
We spent some time learning interesting facts about Italy, its culture and traditions. The home’s chef prepared delicious Italian themed dishes, including pasta, pizza, tiramisu and gelato.
In the afternoon, we watched various videos and documentaries about Italy and enjoyed a glass of Italian wine.
It was a lovely day, enjoyed by all.
Safari Park adventure
Here at Hall Park were pleased to be able to dive into the wild safari life of Knowsley Safari and to enjoy an amazing live stream tour of the park’s grounds.
Our residents were smiling and laughing as they got up close and personal with some of the safari’s most popular animals, including giraffes and meerkats and much more!
We had a wonderful time learning more about the animals and enjoying some live feeding demonstrations.
National Vegetarian Week
In recognition of National Vegetarian Week, team members and residents at Hall Park enjoyed a virtual cooking demonstration, generously provided by Vegetarian for Life, a leading authority on diet and healthy living advice for older vegans and vegetarians.
The exciting virtual culinary session was hosted by professional chef Alex, who made healthy quick and easy vegetarian dishes, including Borlotti bean and dill pate, Greek fritters with tzatziki, coronation ‘chicken’ and banana bread.
In preparation for the event, the home’s chef prepared the same snacks and refreshments for the residents to enjoy during the demonstration.
Everyone at the home was delighted to be a part of this lovely virtual session by tasting the vegetarian dishes from the comfort of the home.
Darts at 99
At the age of 99, Annie is proof that your never to old to learn something new, as today was the first time she ever thrown a dart and once she got started there was no stopping her.
