Activities at Hilderstone Hall Care Home
Our activities team are, first and foremost, devoted to each and every resident in the home, and strive to ensure that their interests, hobbies, capabilities and individual requests are met to the highest standard. This could include one-to-one chats, hand massages, reading, music therapy, flower arranging, movement to music, arts & crafts, gardening and baking. We also have regular fun, adventurous and stimulating trips, where we encourage families and loved ones to join us. We have close links with the Alzheimer's Society, the local primary school, and Trinity Skills who come to sing with residents. All the staff at Hilderstone Hall participate in activities with residents, offering encouragement, stimulation and interaction for everyone involved, providing the most fulfilling experience possible.
Hannah Perry
Hi I’m Hannah and I am the Activities Lead. I have two children and love spending time on my allotment growing fruit and veg. I joined the team at Hilderstone Hall in October 2023 and have become a valued member of the team. I enjoy working with the residents and getting to know them, as well as making sure they take part in various activities such as singing, crafts, baking and much more! I have over 9 years experience within the care industry and worked previously as an Activities Co-Ordinator before coming to Hilderstone.

Life Skills in Memory Lane
The residents of Memory Lane took advantage of a rare Winter sunny day at Hilderstone Hall by pegging some of the washing out in their beautiful garden.
Flower Arranging
The residents from Hilderstone Hall have recently enjoyed an afternoon of flower arranging with a catch up and a lovely cup of tea.
Loved Ones Day
Residents had fun baking lovely biscuits and cakes, then decorating them with chocolate and enjoying them with a lovely cup of tea in the afternoon in celebration of Loved Ones Day!
Celebrating Dignity Day
The residents from Hilderstone Hall have recently enjoyed celebrating Dignity Day.
My Vintage Valentine
The residents from Hilderstone Hall recently enjoyed a production from My Vintage Valentine that included lots of singing and dancing getting the residents involved!
