Activities at Kenwyn Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Betty's Retirement

Good luck, Betty!

Christmas Comes to Kenwyn

Everyone at Kenwyn was 'ho ho ho’ing' with Christmas cheer. The whole team dressed up in their best Christmas attire to deliver presents, sing Christmas carols and enjoy home-baked mince pies!

We are now 10-60-06 accredited!

We are now 10-60-06 accredited!

Kenwyn has achieved accreditation for a new standard of dementia care, which was developed by dementia care specialists at Barchester.

The 10-60-06 dementia programme will replace Barchester's current dementia care programme in order to ensure that the care services provided by our Memory Lane communities for people living with dementia are the best in the sector.

Pied for Pudsey

Pied for Pudsey

Our very own wonderful activities team got pied in aid of raising money for Children in Need. The residents helped make the whipped cream pies and had a great time watching the main event.

The Good Nurse
