Activities at Kingswood Court Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

I have been working at Kingswood Court for 3 years, first as a carer and since 2022 as an activity coordinator.
I really enjoy making a difference to our residents’ life and organising events and activities for them. I like to involve the local community in events within the home. Activities at Kingswood Court are very varied: entertainers, singers, gentle exercise, arts and craft, outings, and so much more!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Kingswood Court Care Home
Zoolab visit with some creepy crawlies
Lovely morning with Zoolab and the company of Children from St Stephen's C of E junior school. not only did residents enjoy getting to hold and fee these incredible animals they also got to share the experience with the children and discuss what the animals felt like and what they thought about them
Skittles and Music
Residents enjoyed a game of skittles followed by a visit from entertainer Siobhan.
Chinese new year
Residents celebrated Chinese new year of the Rabbit by painting and colouring.
British winter birds art project
Our British winter birds art project was a huge success with residents discussing all the different birds that visit us here at Kingswood Court.
