Activities at Kingswood Court Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

I have been working at Kingswood Court for 3 years, first as a carer and since 2022 as an activity coordinator.
I really enjoy making a difference to our residents’ life and organising events and activities for them. I like to involve the local community in events within the home. Activities at Kingswood Court are very varied: entertainers, singers, gentle exercise, arts and craft, outings, and so much more!

Monday arts and crafts club
Monday with Arts and Crafts, this morning we just started a project, painting with watercolour, pencils and acrylics it is not finished yet, just the first part is done so here some pictures of the process and this afternoon we did a caterpillar decoration for our plants pots in the rooms
Pet therapy visit with Maisie
Residents enjoyed a heartwarming Pet therapy visit from Maisie.
as you can see from the photos the residents loved every second with Maisie and we cant wait for our next visit from our lovely friend.
