Activities at Lancaster Grange Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Lancaster Grange Care Home

,

Police Appreciation of our Staff

A big thank you to Nottinghamshire Police who came in numbers to Lancaster Grange’s car park at 8pm, to applaud and show their appreciation to all of our hard working care staff. They were joined by friends and family members of our residents to make it a very special and positive moment.

,

Flower Arranging

The sun was shining and Jean really enjoyed the flower arranging and foliage from the gardens. It was great timing for the virtual Chelsea flower show. Long may the good weather continue and the residents make the most of our lovely outside areas

,

VE Day Celebrations

Residents and staff made the most out of VE Day with delicious cakes, drinks and nibbles on offer. The flags were flying to honor the special day.

,

Crocheted Superhero

Meet our little hero healthcare worker. He was crocheted to bring us all support and joy. The residents and staff have now starting to crochet too.

Songs of Praise

Residents enjoyed songs of praise. It was a relaxed gathering where residents sung hymns, whilst our resident ambassador was playing piano.
