Activities at Lawton Manor Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.
Chloe Cameron
This is Chloe and she is our Activities Coordinator here at Lawton Manor. Her job is to physically and mentally stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. She wants to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that Chloe holds very close to her heart. It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we host for them. A lot of our residents also enjoy our special trips out on our Minibus as we create new, special memories together.

Life at Lawton Manor Care Home
Performance from the Ukulele Band
We had the pleasure of listening to the Ukulele Community Band perform for us at Lawton Manor!
We all loved singing along & shaking our bells to some brilliant festive music throughout the evening. Some of our residents said their favourite thing to do was join in, as they felt as though they were actually part of the band!
Thanks to all at Ukulele Community Band for helping spread some Christmas cheer with our residents, and we can't wait to welcome you back!
Christmas Cards from Local School
Today our residents received handmade Christmas cards from the lovely children at Woodcocks' Well CE VA Primary School in Mow Cop. All the residents were beaming with smiles such a wonderful sight this special time of year.
The residents would like to thank all the children for their hard work and creativity on all the lovely cards! We're looking forward to welcoming you in for a festive visit to Lawton Manor very soon.
Santa Visits Lawton Manor!
Yesterday our Residents received a surprise visit from Santa & his Tractor. He dropped in at the end of his visit around the community on his sleigh, and as you can see by all of the smiling faces, everybody absolutely loved it.
Santa has now gone to write his good and naughty list and will pay us a visit again very soon!
Many thanks to Alsager Round Table for coming.
Happy Retirement!
Yesterday at Lawton Manor Jackie celebrated her retirement! Jackie has been with us for 20 amazing years. Our Head Chef Nick prepared a delicious home-made cake and nibbles for all to enjoy!
Wishing Jackie a very happy retirement and all the best for the future.
The Elf returns!
We’ve had a surprise guest today at Lawton Manor! Joey the elf has joined our Staff and Residents to have some fun and cause some mischief!
Make sure to check our page to see what Joey will be up too.
Visits from Rosie the Dog
Our new resident Pauline got a lovely visit this week from her husband and her little dog, Rosie. Pauline and Rosie had a great time seeing each other, so much so that Rosie decided to take a small tour and visit our other residents for pets and cuddles! As you can see, everyone was over the moon to have the chance to see Rosie and spend the afternoon with her.
