Activities at Magnolia Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!

I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

Residents got artistic decorating tasty homemade Christmas biscuits. Yummy!
Keeping Busy
The residents at Magnolia court are really busy; they are multi-skilled and nothing is hard for them. They bake, play different types of bingo, celebrate Elf day and much more. We are so proud of our lovely friends!
Thanksgiving Celebrations
For Thanksgiving, Magnolia Court was delighted to give thanks and recognition to the local policing team. It’s a 24/7 amazing job they do, and it’s never easy, sometimes with very little thanks. So from us to you: thank you so much!
Tee Off
Our lovely residents never miss their weekly exercise sessions. They really loved our new minigolf set-up.
100th Birthday Celebrations
Magnolia Court was delighted to celebrate the 100th birthday of our lovely resident, Rosy. Her family could also join in via video calls. Rosy was extremely happy and thanked the staff for the lovely party.
