Activities at Newton House Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Newton House Activities Team
Amanda, Sabrina, Karen and Jill make up our fantastic Activities Team here at Newton House. They develop and oversee an active living programme for each resident, which encourages mobility, social contact, independence and fun. Each and every person can thrive and live to their full potential with no day ever being the same. They bring great enthusiasm and spark to Newton House and have one passion, which is to deliver an amazing and vibrant activities programme to cater to all tastes and abilities.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Newton House Care Home
Family Pet Visit
A resident at Newton House enjoyed stroking their lovely pet dog . His playful presence in the home and communal areas made everyone’s day. We all look forward to seeing him again soon.
Birthday Treats
Kathleen celebrated her birthday and was showered with treats and a lovely cake at Newton House. The day was topped off with a family visit in our lovely garden area.
Summer Holiday Reminiscence
Residents at Newton House enjoyed a Summer Holiday Reminiscence. They read out slides and shared stories from their favourite destinations. The homemade cakes and tea in a China cup rounded off a nice day.
Target Practice
Residents are seen playing a fun game of 'Target' at Newton House this week. They loved it and it looks to be a new favourite
Messages to Loved Ones
Residents at Newton House were busy sending nice messages to their loved ones around the world.
Garden Visits
It was all smiles at Newton House as it opened it's doors to family and friends of relatives this weekend with garden visits. Everyone was kept safe as the 2m social distancing rule was maintained.
