Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Pancake Day Fun
Here at Ritson Lodge, Pancake day was a lot of fun! We all tried flipping pancakes... some of us more successfully than others! We then got to enjoy some freshly made pancakes with a range of delicious toppings.
Valentine's Day Celebrations
Residents, staff and friends of Ritson Lodge celebrated Valentines Day with a tea party and a performance from a local Ukulele band! Everybody had a great time and many of the residents had a dance along to the music!
Stay & Play - Visit from the Toddlers!
Every month we have a lovely local toddler group come into Ritson Lodge to play with the residents! Our residents love the visits from these little ones.
Gardening Club
Here at Ritson Lodge, we have a gardening club that meets regularly. In these pictures you can see our residents enjoying looking after the flowers and potting some winter colour!
Horse Therapy
Residents at Ritson Lodge had some strange visitors to the home this week - these gentle giants won over the hearts of the residents and staff. Horse therapy will now be taking place every month at Ritson Lodge.
Mediterranean Day!
To offset the cold weather here at Ritson Lodge, we had a Mediterranean Day! Our residents made flags which were used to decorated a buffet table with lots of different Mediterranean foods - Spanish, Greek and Italian food were all on offer, cooked by our fabulous Head Chef. We then had an informative slide show from a member of the community who taught us all about the Mediterranean lifestyle. Everybody had a great day!
