Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
Memory Tree
We had a Christmas-themed memory tree erected over the festive period here at Rose Lodge. People could write a message on a tag and remember a loved one.
Residents' Christmas Tree
Residents kept themselves busy by decorating this Christmas tree with some help from the activities ladies. They made all of the ornaments in a Christmas-themed arts and crafts session that we recently held.
Christmas Hamper
Residents helped to put together our new year hamper – and look how wonderful it looks!
Employee of the Month - November
Well done to Mary Scott-More, who was named as Rose Lodge's Employee of the Month for November.
Employee of the Month - October
Our Employee of the Month Award for October was presented to Clinical Nurse, Loida Natividad, who works on both floors of our home. Loida has worked here for 15 years and always takes time out of her day to have a cup of tea and chat with residents.
Remembrance Day
Residents took part making a poppy reef, which they added their loved one's named too.
