Activities at Rose Water Place Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Georgia Williams

Activities Coordinator

Hi, my name is Georgia and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Water Place.

I have done various roles in the care industry from being a carer, to activities, to administrator.  I have enjoyed every role but I feel activities is my calling.  I love making our residents smile and enjoy spending time with them and listening to every life story and ambition.

During Covid, I won a regional and national award for activities and had the opportunity to have afternoon tea in the House of Lords.

Our very own pet therapy dog, Jelly!

This week we have had a new member of the team join us, our Deputy Manager Krzysztof's dog, Jelly.

The residents and staff have thoroughly enjoyed Jelly visiting and I think Jelly has enjoyed all the fuss she has been getting from us all.

Jelly has now been registered as our official pet therapy dog.

Spanish Garden Party

Our visitors and residents had a fabulous time at our Spanish party.

Rafael, our Regional Chef, cooked the most amazing traditional tapas, paella and churros in chocolate, all served with a lovely cold glass of sangria
