Activities at Sherwood Lodge Care Home
Our Activities Coordinator is constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. We have regular outings in the mini bus to nearby places of interest including local garden centres and parks as well as musicians and entertainers. We also hold bingo evenings which are helped out by our residents families. We also have a local pub nearby which the residents enjoy visiting from time to time for a spot of lunch or sitting in the gardens in the summer time. We try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests as best is possible. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at Sherwood Lodge Care Home
Golden Oldies
We were recently entertained by Golden Oldies, who put on several wonderful performances for residents, which included a dance, a singalong and a comedy routine.
Christmas Day
Residents enjoyed their time at Sherwood Lodge on Christmas Day. Our kitchen team prepared a delicious Christmas lunch for everyone to indulge in.
Christmas Donations
Zebra Technologies is based close to Sherwood Lodge and kindly asked staff members to suggest appropriate presents for residents. The presents were left under our Christmas tree on 21st December, and some of their employees joined us for a game of bingo.
We would like to thank our friends at Zebra Technologies for their kindness and generosity.
