Lee Annalls
Hello, my name is Lee I am the Head of Maintenance. I joined Barchester because they have a good reputation as one of the industry leaders and they have won lots of awards. I used to run my own business as a multi-skilled tradesman and worked as a facilities manager looking after three schools, so I have a lot of experience in compliance and health and safety. I am proud to join Barchester, as I know I will be able to expand my skills and I can advance my career.
In my own time, I enjoy family time with my four girls and I am excited that I will soon be a grandad. I still haven’t accepted the fact that at 44 years of age, I shouldn’t spend 3 times a week and every Sunday running around the football pitch or playing golf. Occasionally I will rest my legs and watch a bit of Netflix.

My name is Elia Fernandes, I am a dedicated professional in the care industry since 2017, I joined Barchester in 2024. I am passionate about my work and thrive in the dynamic environment provided by Barchester. I see working within such a large organisation as an opportunity for continuous growth and learning. What I value the most about Barchester is the sense of community and compassion that flows throughout the organisation. I am surrounded by a diverse team of individuals, each with their own cultural backgrounds and aspirations. Despite these differences, we all share a common goal: the well-being of the residents we serve.
Remi Payne
As a diligent and empathetic professional with experience in people and data management.
I've always had a passion for jobs that involve helping others and making a positive impact, whether it is providing practical or emotional support to vulnerable, homeless, physically, or mentally challenged individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
I choose to work with Barchester because I believe in her vision and value statement. Barchester provides a breath of fresh air of what I believe residential/care homes should be. The residents see it as a home away from home (as it should be), and the staff are well treated with respect and adequate support, training etc
Working alongside like-minded management to achieve a common goal is quite refreshing and gives me a sense of fulfilment each day because no two days are the same.
