Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Love is in the Air
We love love here at Silverbirch and Colin and Shelia are real testament to this. 74 Years together and as you can see still going strong. Staff created the perfect afternoon for them in the private dining room. Complete with Balloons, cakes, fizz and a whole lot of love.
That Friday Feeling
It doesn't need to be Friday to be well and truly pampered at Silverbirch. But when the ladies said they had a lunch date in our private dining room with friends, then how could we refuse. Delia set about prepping, preening and making them feel a million dollars.
Live Music at Silverbirch House!
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon; the music created a warm and uplifting atmosphere with live keyboard, violin, and outstanding vocals that got everyone's toe-tapping.

Variety is the spice of life at Silverbirch House!
Life enrichment is at the heart of everything we do, and today is no exception. Our residents had a great mix of activities to enjoy:
- A pampering session at our nail salon
- A friendly game of cards
- A lovely trip to the pub
- Relaxing with some puzzles

Communion Gathering at Silverbirch House
At Silverbirch House, we are committed to fostering inclusivity and honouring our residents' diverse faiths and spiritual needs. Moments like these bring connection and comfort to our community.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from our local Christian church, who led a beautiful communion gathering for our residents as part of our Life Enrichment Programme offering connection and comfort to our community.
A big thank you to the church for their warmth and dedication.
