Activities at South Chowdene Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Singing together
Voices full of emotion, memories, and faith joined together with the worship band, beautiful, heartfelt voices rising together, reaching the heavens.
It was a moment of pure connection, where time seemed to stand still and hearts spoke louder than words.

Wisdom across generations
We asked our wonderful residents and dedicated staff: “What advice would you give to the younger generation?” — and their answers were full of heart, honesty, and life experience.
From generations who have lived through so much, these words remind us that some lessons never go out of style.

Musical Bingo
What a fantastic Musical Bingo session! Songs sparked memories, voices filled the room, and everyone—from residents to visitors—joined in for a truly special sing-along.
We are all looking forward to the next one!
