Activities at The Warren Care Home
Here at The Warren, our activities team are always very busy thinking of new ways to keep residents active, both physically and mentally. We have regular trips out in the minibus, both locally and further a field, including the London Eye and the Thames River Trip), at least once a week during the summer months. We also enjoy visits from PAT dogs and have professional exercise sessions and live entertainment, which are always popular.
Kirstie Bush
My name is Kirstie and I am lucky enough to be the Activities Coordinator here at The Warren.
I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities and leisure and lifestyle roles.
I love being part of The Warren team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the importance of residents' input into our weekly planner is important giving all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at The Warren Care Home
VE Day
Here at The Warren, we celebrated VE Day with live entertainment and afternoon tea.
A Special Guest
Irish singer and performer, Daniel O’Donnell, popped in to say hello to residents and staff, much to their surprise.
Our Activities Coordinator, Joy Michell, has been trying to get Daniel to come in for the past 15 years, but he has been unable to due to his busy schedule. However, since he has been up in Norfolk on tour recently, he kindly agreed to pop in for a visit.
Daniel met with a number of residents in the dining room during lunch and also went to residents’ rooms to say hello. The activities team were very pleased that Daniel was able to visit, and he commented on what a lovely home it was.
A Double Celebration
Congratulations to both Aysha Gladwell and Julie Wright, both of whom have worked for The Warren for 10 Years. They were presented with their Long Service Awards by Acting General Manager, Rhiannon Crofts.
Mini Donkeys
Monday saw the mini donkeys arrive at The Warren along with Father Christmas; they were welcomed by both young and old alike. We invited the children along from the Once Upon A Time Nursery in Sprowston to join us and they gave a surprise rendition of 'Jingle Bells' whilst they were here. They also received a gift from the big man himself, to their delight.
Wroxham Broad
We had another trip to Wroxham Broad to feed the water fowl, see the boats and enjoy a nice cup of tea.
Giovanni & David
Giovanni & David returned to The Warren for another afternoon of music and fun!
