Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Happy Easter
Happy Easter to all our friends and family, today was very special day we made Easter Bonnets, did Easter arts and crafts and had a visit from the Easter Bunny who gave us a Chocolate egg.
We took photos of most of our residents so if you would like the photo of your loved one please drop us a message and we can send it across to you.

First day of our Gardening Club
Today we started our Gardening club, we planted flowers, potatoes, herbs and sunflower seeds. Hopefully when everything starts to grow we will have fresh items that the kitchen can use for our meals and for out cooking class which takes place on a Thursday afternoon. We are also going to be having a sunflower competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower, so stay tuned to find out the results!

ZooLab visited Werrington with exotic pets
Chris from ZooLab visited us today with some of his amazing exotic animals. As you can see from the photos we were all very excited and intrigued to find out more about the animals that visited. We had a snake, a giant gecko, a rat and, a tarantula.. ekk!!”
