Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Lucy Lock

Activities Coordinator

Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Mike's Donkeys

We here at Beaufort Grange were recently lucky enough to welcome Charlie from 'Mike's Donkeys' into the home. He was so well-behaved and lovable that we would have him back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed the musical talents of entertainer, Carl Morgan. Here, we see some of the staff dancing and having a great time with residents.

A few times a week, we get together as a group and do some chair-based exercises. A firm favourite of the residents is the tennis game and throwing the giant ball.
