Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Lucy Lock

Activities Coordinator

Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day

We had the talented people of Daisy Chain Productions in the home again to celebrate Armed Forces Day. They brought a fantastic show with them, as always. They shall be welcomed back very soon, hopefully.

Songs of Praise

We were delighted to welcome back Poppy and John, who represent St. Michael's Church group. We always love having them and it’s a wonderful chance for residents to enjoy some spiritual enrichment.

Farewell to Michael

Farewell to Michael

We have said goodbye, good luck and bon voyage to a member of the maintenance team, Michael White, who recently moved on from Barchester. We wish him all the best in his future and are sad to see him go.

Gardening Club

Here are the gardening club members with their latest project. They have been repotting Lilies to brighten up their bedrooms. The bulbs were kindly donated by one of our carers Jackie, so thank you Jackie!!

Acorns and Oaks

Every Monday we have the very fortunate job of hosting a playgroup set up by the organisation acorns and oaks. It’s been happening every Monday for nearly three months now and we couldn’t be happier. Intergenerational activities are booming in the care sector these days and we are ecstatic to have our own group on the go.

Ladies Day

Ladies Day

We made hats in honour of Ladies Day at the Royal Ascot. Everybody worked really hard and produced some fantastic hats and, more importantly, we all had a great time making them.
